Tips to be a better singer.
- Keep your feet shoulders' width apart. Do not lock your knees! If you sit on a chair,
make sure you're sitting upright but not stiffly with two feet flat on the floor.
- Relax as tension destroys vocal tone.
- White inhaling, push your stomach out. This will completely fill your lungs with air. Slowly bring your stomach in when you exhale.
- If you go flat (lower than the desired note) on a high note, raise your arms a little higher and smile slightly.
- If you go sharp (higher than the desired note), drop your jaw but do not constrict air flow.
- Do not keep clearing your throat. The phlegm is required to lubricate your vocal chords.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Open your mouth like you are yawning when you sing. Drop your jaw.
- Enjoy singing! Smile and be confident. That's all you need and have to be.
Goodbye & have a nice day!
